Now, Do I Have A Life?

I went out every day last week. On Sunday I saw a movieThe Bourne Supremacy, Monday, I ate lunch at a restaurant and went shopping. Tuesday, I went to a resort in Angeles, Pampanga to see my relatives who came from Germany. Wednesday, I met up with a friend in front of Max Brenner Restaurant. Thursday, I met another friend at Glorietta. Friday, I went to Makati and on Saturday, I ate dinner at Fridays, and then went to two different bars afterwards, one with a dance floor, another with a live band. And then just yesterday (Sunday), I went to a lunch party near Manila. That's why I haven't been updating as often as I used to before, and haven't written a movie review for neither Bourne nor Saved! (Starring Jena Malone and Mandy Moore). I guess you can say I've been pretty busy, and I think what I just described could make me look like I'm a person with a life that's just like those gimik girls they always write about in magazines. But that's only if I don't mention what I do in the next paragraph.

See, here's what really happened to me last week:

Sunday - I saw The Bourne Supremacy with my parents (and sister and brother) after we attended mass

Monday - I went with my aunt and grandfather to my 8-year-old cousin's school to watch her ballet performance and since it was her (my cousin's) birthday, we ate out afterwards. I took the bus to get home and since I always pass by SM to get to my house, I bought the stuff at the department store my mom asked me to

Tuesday - One of my grandmothers got confined in the hospital in Angeles, and so my relatives from Germany came to Philippines to visit her. They stayed at the resort because we didn't have any relatives in Pampanga. That's why I went there (with my mom and aunt and grandfather) in the first place.

Wednesday - Max Brenner Restaurant is along Makati Ave., where my friend's car passed by to pick me up, to bring me to the house of the Korean kids I was supposed to tutor English.

Thursday - I met my friend at Glorietta so we could go together to Makati Medical Center and visit our sick friend.

Friday - The house of the kids I'm tutoring (This is my job now (Finally!), which I can't really call a 'sideline' because there's nothing for it to "side" against) is in Makati. This was my first day as their official tutor.

Saturday - It was one of my cousin's birthday, and all the people I was with were my relatives. Both my siblings were there too.

Sunday - There was a small farewell party for our relatives from Germany, we ate lunch at my grandparent's house. And then went to another hospital (in Roxas Boulevard) afterwards because my other grandmother is confined there.

Maybe it's just me, but when I compare my first description of the events to the second one, it kind of seems like they happened to two different people; one, who's the average teenager who goes out with friends and has fun all the time, and another, whose whole life is so boring, that nothing happens unless it's something to do with her family. It's so lovely how omitting some parts of sentences can give very different impressions of the same thing they're supposed to be describing.

Anyway, it was a pretty busy week, that's why I haven't had much time to think about stuff to put in my blog. And now I wonder whether that's the reason why there are some people who, although they have blogs, they hardly ever update--because they actually have interesting busy lives that don't leave them much time to sit in front of the computer and write about it.

I don't know how interesting other people would find my 'busy' week. I just hope that unlike me, nobody would go to three different hospitals for three different people, all in one week. It's really pretty depressing. Especially when you remember that that's mostly the reason you go out of the house at all.
