Ang totoo, nasanay kasi akong mag-update ng blog sa bahay, kapag tulog nang lahat, at walang gagambala sa'kin. Madali kasi akong ma-distract kaya ayokong nagsusulat habang maraming taong nagsasalita sa paligid. Nakasisira ng train of thought. Kaya hirap na hirap akong makapag-update.
Pero, parang ginawa na yata lahat ng tadhana para makapag-update ako. Siguro mahal nga talaga ako ng tadhana, kaya ayan, sa kaibigan kong si fate, para sa'yo 'to.
Reason for Living / Reason for Leaving ?
Nalulungkot ako kaya sabi sa'kin ng friend ko, "Ano, nawala na ang iyong reason for living?" Sabi ko naman, "Hindi, nagkaroon ako ng reason for leaving." Hehe. OA na kung OA. Half-meant jokes lang naman ang mga 'yan. Ewan, ganyan mag-setup ang tadhana 'eh.
Isang bagay lang naman talaga ang nangyari. Pero 'yung effects, hindi lang isa. Siguro ganoon lang talaga kalaki ang attachment ko, kaya nung mawala, ang daming naapektuhan. O baka naman, mababaw lang talaga ako. Eh, pero naman kasi...
Wala na si Min Soung.
Sa mga hindi nakakaalam, si Min Soung ang favorite kong student. 'Yan, hindi na'ko nagwoworry na baka sa sobrang mention ko 'eh ma-jinx ko 'yung pangalan niya at mawala siya dahil alam ko, na kahit ano pang gagawin ko, hindi na siya babalik.
Weh, ang drama. Pero gaya nga ng sabi ni Lemony Snicket, " If you've ever lost a loved one before, then you know what the Baudelaire children probably felt, but if you haven't, then you cannot possibly imagine it." Not saying na 'loved one' ko si Min Soung, and it's not like he died or anything *knocks on wood*, pero ang point naman 'eh, nawala siya.
Bakit siya nawala? The reason affects me more than his disappearance. Hindi daw kasi siya natututo. Sabi ng nanay niya, nag-aaksaya daw sila ng pera, dahil hindi naman daw natututo 'yung anak niya. Granted, she has a very good point. Talagang slow 'yung batang 'yun, at kahit anong pilit ko, hindi niya talaga maintindi-intindihan ang "How was school?" kaya kailangan laging gawing "What did you do in school today?". Pero kahit na. Halos isang taon nang enrolled sa kumpanya namin si Min Soung. Nakaka-ilang teacher na siya. Bakit nung nasa'kin, saka lang siya hindi na nagre-enroll? Hindi kaya ibig sabihin nun ako ang may problema? Baka talagang hindi ako marunong magturo. O kaya naman, talagang hindi mabuti na masyado kong kinukunsinte ang mga bata, na kahit matulog sila 'eh hindi ko sila pinagagalitan. Paano ba 'yan, naging problema pa ang pagiging masyadong mabait.
Yeah, yeah, masyado na'kong nagwa-wallow in self-pity. Dapat nga hindi ko na minention 'to. I don't normally like talking about sad stuff because when I read them again, nalulungkot akong muli. Pero sabi ko nga, nakikinig talaga ang mundo, dahil on the exact day na sinabi ko kay Eloisa na " dapat siguro magkaroon ako ng problema para may masulat ako sa blog" 'eh saka nangyari 'to. Hayaan n'yo na'ko. Alam kong mababaw, pero basta, nakakalungkot talaga.
Happy Birthday
Na-mention ko na before, I'm a birthday person. As in, 'pag may kakilala akong may birthday, asahan mong magiging sobrang saya ako para sa kanya. At tuwing naririnig ko ang kantang 'to, natutuwa ako. Kaya nga pati ako nagulat, 'dun sa time na nalungkot ako dahil dito.
Birthday ng isa kong student kahapon. At dahil sobra siyang brat at ayaw niyang mag-aral, sinabi ko, na kanta na lang kami. Pinatugtog ko pa 'yung mp3 ng Happy Birthday Song kahit alam kong malamang naman alam niya dahil iisa lang ata ang tono niyan sa buong mundo, pero pamatay oras na rin kasi, tamad nga siya 'eh.
Kumanta naman siya, or rather, tumula. Obvious na napipilitan pero pwede na, basta nagsasalita. After a while naman, nagkatono na rin. Sinasabayan na niya 'yung music.
Usually, ang naiisip ko tuwing naririnig ko 'yan, 'eh mga cake, regalo, cake, parties, at cake. Pero nung time na 'yon, bigla kong naalala ang camp.
Kasi nga, alam ng buong mundo ang Happy Birthday Song na 'yan, kaya naman nung nag-iisip kami ng song na kakantahin namin kasama 'yung mga bata nung camp, 'yan ang naisip namin. 'Yan lang kasi ang alam ng lahat. So 'yan ang kinanta namin. Nang paulit-ulit-ulit-ulit. Hanggang sa natawag na ang game na "Happy Birthday Game" kahit ang alam kong pangalan nun 'eh "Pass the ball" (or something like that). Basta, naging parang trademark na. Kaya nga, nang marinig ko siyang muling kinakanta ng batang makulit, 'yung camp agad ang naalala ko... Tapos lahat ng students na hindi ko na makakausap muli.
Gusto kong isipin na ironic, dahil ang song na supposedly 'eh nag-iindicate ng life (living for another year!) 'eh nakakapagpaalala sa'kin ng mga bagay na wala na, at hindi na mauulit.
Gimme A Break
Ang isa pang epekto ng pagkawala ni Min Soung, ay ang pagkakaroon ng malaking puwang sa schedule ko sa gabi. Dahil 20 minutes pa man din ang duration ng klase niya (double than the normal time), nang mawala siya, malaki talaga ang nadagdag sa break ko. Dahil may 20 minutes akong liban bago ang klase niya (dahil may student ako dun dati na favorite ko din, at nawala na rin sa'kin ngayon, si Hyun Jin (Sally) T_T, pero siya nagpalipat lang ng oras) tapos nagpa-on hold pa 'yung student na pagkatapos niya, nagkaroon ako ng libreng 50 minutes.
50 minutes. Halos isang oras na walang kailangang gawin. Normally, I would've welcomed the loss of students and gaining a long break, with wide open arms. Makakapag-YM ako, makakabili ng pagkain sa baba, makaka-update ng blog... Siyempre, masaya naman ako sa mahabang break. Pero minsan, kahit pa kasing-ganda ng mahabang break ang kapalit ng pagkawala ng estudyante, well... Sabi ko nga, nang-aasar talaga ang tadhana.
Nagkataong absent pa ang student ko ngayon (23:30KT) kaya kahit hindi ko natapos kanina 'yung pagsusulat nito 'eh may oras pa rin ako ngayon. Sabi sa inyo 'eh, nananadya ang pagkakataon. Baka kailangan ko na nga talagang mag-update. Kailangan ko na talagang ma-update. Kailangan ko nang magdagdag. Kailangan ko nang gumalaw.

*sighs* i can relate ida... ganyan talaga minsan, kaka-miss ung mga bata.. iba ang charm nila e.. for some reason pag sila na ang nawala sobrang laki ng space na naiiwan... like elinia, i never thought na ganito ka ka-attached ky min soung :) i mean, lam ko na mahal mo ung batang un pero naman, one long entry for minsoung?? he's something else!! :P
and girl, remember, loosing min soung doesn't and will never reflect on your ability as a teacher... if you were'nt a good teacher then the mom would've pulled out Jack also.. but he's still with you right? meaning to say the prob is solely with minsoung... kasi laging ulang sa tulog :P...

nakakalungkot talaga pag may nawala. at dun mo lang ma-rerealize na sobrang importante yung taong yun...
i never thought na sobrang attached ka kay min soung until now.
